COOL VEGAS MAP - About The Las Vegas Steakhouse
A Man's Got To Eat
As remarked in by David deMontmollin in his book : The Las Vegas Little Black Book, the Las Vegas Steakhouse is an essential
part of the ultimate Las Vegas experience for guys. Why? Because the old school steakhouse never went out of style which means the comfortable, red leather, dark decored rooms are still easy to find and make the ultimate place to relax and get in the mood for the fun evening that's to come. While many U.S. cities may have a few classic steakhouses that serve USDA grade beef, this type of restaurant is easy to find all over Las Vegas. With so much competition, a good value can be found, the pressure to be stylish and up on the latest cuisines and wines isn't there and they are great times and great food to be had.
Eating prime, dry-aged beef that has been stored for just the right amount of time to let the meat's natural enzymes bring out its flavor has almost been a forgotten taste elsewhere in this country, except for a few holdouts. That never happened here. Here in Las Vegas diners enjoy their cuts of beef at the peak of their tenderness and flavor.
An old favorite still going strong. While many peole have to be convinced that Circus Circus could have a great restaurant, fans of The Steak House know better. The rumbling of the ground when the nearby Stardust Casino was imploded may be an uneasy reminder that nothing is forever, this steakhouse has been a favorite north strip spot for steak lovers for decades. Just be sure arrive at the hotel check-in in the back to avoid the kid-crazed "circus" atmosphere in the rest of this spot. Very comfortable, large sized booths, steaks are cooked in an open charcoal pit. Mequite grilling, a large glass case showing the delectable steak cuts the old-fashioned way. The Las Vegas steakhouse map is well represented here. Very popular for its brunches that feature cook to order steaks, other delights such as lobster, crab, lamb chops and various seafood selections are available. Cigars are welcome. |

Located in one of the most popular nightspots in today's Las Vegas, this classic styled steakhouse is an homage to an earlier era. With its polished oak panelling, large booths and excellent, vintage cuts of beef, this place is on the list of many who are looking for that Vegas Rat Pack experience. As usual with these Vegas steakhouse institutions, the place is comfortable and cigars are welcome. Look for the pictures of early Las Vegas. 50's style furniture, piano bar. Prime aged steaks done justice here. An excellent version of the Chicago style steakhouse on the Las vegas restaurant map. |

Noted for its standalone structure on the strip across from Monte Carlo, this replica of a famous New York steakhouse is a popular Sin City dining spot and a welcome addition to the Las Vegas steakhouse restaurant map. It has two parts, a large but noisy restaurant and a smaller grill that stays open late. |
